Day 20: Live

Forever is composed of nows.
— Emily Dickinson

Reflection:

I live. I am living a happy life. I am devoted to following my heart, and my life is joyous. I practice mindful living and am aware I am alive. My existence here on Earth is short, and so I strive every moment to live life to the fullest. I know what is important to me in my life. I decide how to spend my time. I do what I love and love doing it. I breathe in courage, and am encouraged to take chances. Taking more chances helps me to live more freely and abundantly. I have no time for discontent - I move and make my happiness happen. I breathe and love my existence. I grow and learn personally and professionally. IN living, I connect with others. I love and am loved. Loving makes my life valuable. I am comfortable with my here and now. Each moment I am alive - I am exactly where I need to be. I notice the beautiful details of each day: the morning due that is lingering on a spider’s web, the smile of another, my own heart beating. I am tapped in to how I feel, and I honor my feelings - and this make me glad that I am alive. I am grateful and my gratitude also contributes to my life. My challenges are stepping stones. I stay true to my being. My actions are aligned with what I know to be right. I trust my intuition and always “go with my gut” when making a decision. When I look in the mirror I see me - present in the moment with no regrets. I am kind to others. I acknowledge my effect and take care to mindfully appreciate those who I see and my kindness is returned, and I am happy I am alive. If I fall short of kindness, gather back to my awareness and make things right. My mind is alive and it is open. I seek growth and thrive. Ideas come to me, and I honor them and act on them. I find in my acting that the energy and strength and time I need is there - I am amazed. I am living the life I love, and I am happy. I delight in my life. In this limited and expansive thing called living - I have discovered me - and I am thankful.
