Day 29: Smile

Smiling is very important . . . It is with our capacity of smiling, breathing, and being peace that we can make peace.
— Thich Nhat Hanh

Reflection:

I smile. I smile, and I feel good all over. I smile because I am happy sometimes. Sometimes, I smile because I am strong. I smile. My smile travels miles. I smile and shed my stress. Each day - I begin with a smile - a smile and a good stretch. Like the sunshiny yellow smiley, I smile, and I am iconic. The more I smile, the more reasons I find to smile. My face likes the feel of the smile - that gentle stretch. I smile, and my smile is contagious - suddenly another smiles at me. I love to see the smile of others - I smile more. I see the sun’s sparkle; I smile. I hear my dog’s approach with his jingly collar, and I smile - and he smiles back at me. I smell the fresh strawberries as I chop them for my smoothie bowl, and I smile a smile of delight. I taste, and I smile. I feel the warmth of the day - and the love I have - and the energy to play, and I smile. I smile. I wait for a light to turn - I smile in the wait. Some say there are many different types of smiles - if there are - I smile them all. Are you smiling?
